You won’t want to miss the 40th Annual Fall Country Jamboree in Barberville this weekend. It goes all day Saturday and Sunday with Living History and lots of Folk Music.
This event features living history demonstrations from the late 1800’s and early 1900’s that include blacksmithing, spinning, pottery, weaving, wood working, a sugar cane grinding and boil and much more!
New this year in celebration of the 40th Anniversary, Pioneer Settlement will be presenting the CD release of “Songs of the Settlement” featuring original songs by some of their favorite musicians. This twin pack compilation is a special production of folk music recounting many stories of the Settlement’s buildings, people and even our animals.
