So, it’s beautiful weather for the full moon tonight and moonrise over the ocean will happen early tonight at 6:07 pm. A penumbral eclipse will be visible to some of us just after moonrise in this part of Florida, but most observers won’t even notice it. And it looks like clear skies so if you are into checking out the full moon you should be able to see it all evening. There is so much happening all over Volusia County this weekend and we are having beautiful, sunny weather in which to enjoy it all. Here’s a link to our calendar if you would like to check out all the happenings. At the Ormond Beach Performing Arts Center in Ormond Beach this weekend we have quite the lineup, starting tonight with an Englebert Humperdinck Tribute, Saturday night features a Frank Sinatra Tribute and on Sunday the matinee performance of “Hits of the Brits”. Tonight at The Peabody Auditorium in Daytona Beach the legendary Bamberg Symphony performs on their American tour. There is a Chili Cook Off in Edgewater Saturday starting at 1pm with fun for the whole family. This is just a sampling of all the great entertainment available for your enjoyment this weekend. Get outside and enjoy the weather since we do live in one of the most beautiful places there is. Be safe and Have Fun!
