Hi from the storm front here in Florida. I have lived in Florida all my life and have been through more hurricanes than I would care to admit probably. As a child I remember one time when the street in front of my home was flooded and people in boats were cruising down the street turned river. That was back in the 60’s in Ft. Pierce, Florida when I was very young. We survived four hits here in Volusia County back in 2004. Everybody remembers that season that started out with Charlie. We lost 8 trees in the yard and were without power for 10 days in the August heat. It was not fun. Hurricane Hermine will be passing by to our north as the night goes on and we will be posting updates as the storm moves through.
