This work has been a labor of love and she is very proud of her work, in which she
has taken great delight. She presents the history as a parent would a fond child,
asking that it be received without expressions of dislike over its imperfections,
but would be very pleased to have words of approval from those who have
longed for its appearance and hope it proves not a disappointment.

A smile is like a little wedge
That often keeps us from the edge
Of getting sad and feeling blue,
I love to see a smile, don’t you?

Let me be a little kinder
let me be a little blinder
To the faults of those about me,
let me praise a little more.
Let me be a little meeker
with the brother that is weaker;
Let me think more of my neighbor
and a little less of me.
