What is the magic?
It is an art form and technique that has been brought out of the past and pushed to the limits of the imagination, creating museum quality art glass to a degree never reached before in the history of glass. Surmounting enormous technical problems and working with and training a group of artisans to do something unknown was the challenge.
It was accepted 10 years ago by Kelsey Murphy and Pilgrim Glass founder and CEO Alfred Knobler. Today, the process is under control. The beauty and variety is sought after by collectors and museums alike. The magic is now a reality - Kelsey Murphy's collaboration with Pilgrim Glass has resulted in "the ultimate in American handmade glass"
This historically significant glass has increased in value 400% in the secondary market in it's relatively short history and is sought after for it's investment value as well as it's beauty.
Still difficult and time consuming to execute, the number of pieces available is quite limited. " We are still one of America's best kept secrets." said Kelsey. "We have many Florida collectors who have been to our gallery in West Virginia so we decided to bring the mountain to Mohammed as it were."
Riverview Hotel has become the permanent Florida showroom for Pilgrim Cameo and Art Glass.
